Luther Huggins’ story began in the inner cities and ghettos of Miami, Florida, particularly in an area called Over Town. Growing up in the projects and facing hardships, Luther’s path to success was far from easy.

A Trailblazer in His Family

As the youngest of six siblings, Luther Huggins carried the weight of breaking barriers. He achieved what no one else in his family had – being the sole graduate from high school. This early success laid the foundation for the remarkable journey that lay ahead.

A Star Athlete with Dreams

At Miami Jackson Senior High School, Luther’s talent and passion for sports shone bright. A two-sport star athlete, he excelled in both football and track, garnering admiration from his peers and teachers alike.

College Dreams and Love Found

Luther’s pursuit of success took him to the University of Minnesota in 1983 and 1984, where he played Collegiate football. Little did he know that this venture would bring more than athletic achievements – it was here that he met the love of his life, Lucy. Together, they embarked on a journey that would span four decades of love and partnership.

A Painful Turn of Events

Despite his athletic achievements, life had more challenges in store for Luther. In 1999, he faced a devastating setback when he was terminated from his job in Corporate America in the health and fitness industry. This difficult experience forced him to downsize and make tough sacrifices to support his family.

The Turning Point: Real Estate Revelation

In 2005, Luther’s life took a transformative turn when he attended his first real estate seminar. Despite financial constraints, Luther’s determination pushed him forward. He grasped the fundamental knowledge and, together with Lucy, founded L&L Huggins Real Estate Investment Inc. in 2006.

Together with Lucy, Luther founded L&L Huggins Real Estate Investment Inc. in the spring of 2006. Guided by strategic investments and smart refinancing, they quickly built an impressive real estate empire worth over 10 million dollars.
